Embark on a musical journey into the wilderness with Where Water Meets, a chamber-folk trio blending folk, world and classical influences into a unique cinematic sound.

Led by composers Emily Sheppard (violin/viola/vox) and Yyan Ng (guitar/shakuhachi/vox) and joined on this tour by Bowerbird Collective co-founder Anthony Albrecht (cello), the group pushes the boundaries of traditional folk to create a transformative listening experience.

Enjoy an enchanting evening of music inspired by Tasmania’s most beautiful and remote places, featuring works from their acclaimed debut River Islands and their new album Ashore, all to pieces. Using retuned instruments, ethereal vocals and driving polyrhythms, the trio evokes the mystery and grandeur of the natural world.

Ashore, all to pieces offers evocative, energetic and reflective original music shaped by Tasmanian land and seascapes. The album launches at the 2025/26 Woodford Folk Festival, followed by Australian and New Zealand tour dates.
