Taranta Festival 2026

Taranta Festival returns to The Hall in 2026 for three days of music, dance, art, food and community, bringing Mediterranean and global cultures to life around Bellingen.

Inspired by the music and rituals of Southern Italy, Taranta is a celebration of culture, connection and creativity, with a mix of live performances, workshops, talks, poetry, roaming performances, community art and plenty of opportunities to get involved.

This year’s theme is IDENTITY, with artists and traditions from Australia and around the world coming together across the festival. Expect everything from global folk and contemporary music to dance, movement, storytelling and food, with events taking place throughout Bellingen and at Bellingen Memorial Hall.

The 2026 festival runs from 30 October – 1 November, with the program unfolding across three days of music, culture and community. Come along for a day, catch a workshop, see a show, or get amongst the whole weekend.
