In times of uncertainty and recovery, creativity and connection can be powerful tools for wellbeing. Join Aimee Davies, Founder of Hey Mate for a Creative Resilience Wellbeing Workshop designed to support individuals and communities.

An interactive workshop designed to support artists, creatives and arts workers with practical tools for managing stress, preventing burnout and sustaining creative practice. The session draws on evidence-based mental health strategies and peer learning to help participants build resilience and navigate the realities of creative careers.

This half-day workshop brings together practical tools, strategies, and opportunities for meaningful community connection. Through guided discussion, reflective activities, and shared learning, participants will explore ways to strengthen personal wellbeing while building collective support networks.

Topics covered in the workshop include Mental Health & Resilience, Financial Resilience & Recovery and Community Connection.

The workshop concludes with a take-home toolkit of wellbeing resources, time for reflection, and an invitation to connect with Hey Mate’s ongoing peer support programs.

The workshop is fully funded and free to attend, with a strong emphasis on accessibility and inclusion.

This workshop is supported by a NAB Foundation Community Grant, helping communities strengthen resilience and wellbeing.

Morning tea is included as part of the event.

Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
